Background

“We are travelers on a cosmic journey, stardust swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity.” -Paulo Coelho

“You will find meaning in life only if you create it. It is a poem to be composed, it is a song to be sung, it is a dance to be danced.” -Osho

Biography - Andrea Davis

This up and coming organic farmer lives in the emerald and beautiful Northwest, USA. Having studied Anthropology at Western Washington University, she furthered her learning and pursued organic farming in the outdoor classroom on various farms in Washington and Oregon. She believes that nature is her greatest teacher, and devotes almost all of her existence to being outdoors. Having decided to become a vegetarian as a young child, a close relationship with food and knowledge of its sources has always been a top priority to her. Andrea’s love of all plants/animals has perpetuated her quest for truth in various local food systems, and ways of integrating holistic eating values into her community. In addition, she has roots in Panama on her mother’s side and feels a profound connection to the country. Central American life has enamored her endlessly, and she has visited Panama many times, along with Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Mexico. Andrea is committed to being a bridge for cultural exchange, as well as cultivating the knowledge left to her from her ancestors.
