Live life to the fullest
Blair graduated from The College of Charleston in May 2010 with a major in psychology and concentration in pre-health. She decided that more school would be in her future but she felt she needed a break first. Her main focus was figuring out what kind of medical profession she was interested in pursuing. Blair worked in a physical therapy clinic and shadowed Nurse Practitioners during the past year. Although these experiences helped her better isolate her fields of interest, she was still not sure on her career choice; she decided that an adventure would help her make a decision. Kalu Yala seemed like the perfect choice for her. She had studied abroad in Granada, Spain during her third year of college. She fell in love with the Spanish language and culture while abroad. Her passion for learning more Spanish and helping others made her decide to be a part of the English as a Second Language Program. Blair understands that this program will bring many challenges, but she is very excited to embark on this adventure. She looks forward to learning the lifestyle and culture of the Panamanians.
