Biography - Terra Filmer

Terra couldn't imagine a better way to wrap the last year for her Bachelors of Science Degree, than to spend it with Kalu Yala. "My love and curiosity for nature is the driving force behind what I do." Having grown up in Arizona, New Zealand, Hawaii, and Washington State, It's no wonder she kept continuing to travel. She feels privileged to have seen such wonders like the northern lights shimmer across Denali in Alaska, stand in the crater of Mt. Rainier in Washington, watch the daily life of an Andean condor pair and their chick in Argentina, and sit near the top of a tree in Georgia, to greet the morning sun with chirping birds. Terra is extremely excited to discover and learn about the diverse flora and fauna in Panama. Make sure to check out her blog and discover what fascinating life is there!
