I was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. I went to the University of Arizona for one year, then transfered to the University of Colorado @ Boulder where I got a B.A. in International Affairs concentrating on Latin America. Eventually, I plan to have collected enough field research from the valley to present feasible alternatives to cattle ranching in and around the Kalu Yala valley. The goal of this project is to show both potential Kalu Yala investors and local farmers a path to creating a self-sustained farming community. At the very least we will be bringing together the people who control the fate one of the most biodiverse patches of Earth left on the planet to openly discuss its future.
