Every morning in the Valley I get up around 6:30 a.m., I prepare myself for the start of my day – brushing teeth, getting dressed, daily routine. And then, I walk up the stairs of our nice “Middle Rancho” and enter my own little world, my recreation spot in the tropical jungle, which belongs only to me for around one hour – for my Workout. I breathe in the fresh, cool tropical air, listening to my German/Spanish/English music (the perfect mix) and enjoy the amazing view I have from the top of my “gym”. This one hour in the morning gives me all the energy I need for the day. .
When I stand up there in the middle of this beautiful surrounding, facing a mountain covered in a magical green which changes with every sunbeam – I just cannot describe this deep peace- and at the same time powerful feeling which attaches me up there…

Generally, nature in the valley can give you so much – you just have to be aware of it! Don’t walk through the tropical jungle only looking at your feet (ok, at the beginning you have to do it because you have to watch your steps). When you look up, you can find beautiful natural scenery and maybe even some sloths or other jungle animals. A day without hiking through the jungle is not a fulfilled valley day for me. Although it can be very exhausting hiking up and down a jungle grassed trail in the tropical sun, it is always worth it, no matter where you go. After a hike like that, you just feel fulfilled, relaxed and full of energy. But these hikes mostly clear my mind, especially when I am alone. Then you have time to stop, take a deep breath and enjoy the amazing nature surrounding you. It just makes you happy to be there.
