I’ve been thrown into a house with mostly strangers; a house where we live and we work for three months. What does that sound like to me? The Real World, Kalu Yala style.
This first two weeks have been about acclimating to the people and community that we are living in. Within these two weeks I have had the ability to explore San Miguel, Panama City and the Valley.

[singlepic id=5535 w=320 h=240 float=left]The other interns and I living in the house have already formed a small community within San Miguel. All the people have come from different backgrounds and places but we are all working and believing in the goals of this company. That’s what binds us together: the hope and vision of creating this new community. Community and culture is what its all about here in San Miguel and what Kalu Yala is striving to initiate and maintain. All of the projects, ideas, and work here in San Miguel are geared towards the place we are living and foraging a foundation.
