Another trip to the valley, and this time it didn’t rain. In fact, the sun was beaming and sweat was dripping as we continued our mission to machete down the weeds. Quite the workout, and the river was more than perfect to help cool off after![singlepic id=4333 w=320 h=240 float=left]
The river that runs by the valley property is the same as that which runs through San Miguel, the Pacora River. Same river, same water, but the swimming hole near the valley is quite different than the ones in San Miguel. Steep hills stand tall over one side, with boulders and rocks lining the river’s edge. The clear water is deeper, and the current doesn’t feel as strong. In certain spots, it is deep enough to jump off the rocks into the water. On the opposite side of the steep hill, rocks and a small beach are the perfect place to dry off after a swim. Even getting down to this swimming spot is beautiful. Tall trees and tropical plants surround a small path that leads from basecamp to the river. There is nothing but beauty too see!
People who love the outdoors are sure to love the magnificent scenery and landscape of the valley property here in Panama. This will most certainly be a key element in helping to advertise for the future community that will occupy the development. Seeing the beauty that is there now, living and admiring it is very helpful in provoking the thoughts about maintaining the land in a sustainable manner. The river is perfect just as is, and hopefully will be protected so that it can remain the same way as it is right now!
